Education and Pediatric Health are the Children’s Wealth

Children are the seeds that we plant today and as time goes by they will be trees that will serve as the foundation of tomorrow. They will be the next leaders and future-builders of their generation. Still children are seeds that are not yet fully grown so they must be nurtured. But how, how can we make them productive and responsible?

In order for a seed to grow, it must be watered and must let the sun shines on it. Same with the seed, the children needs to be nurtured and they need to be given the right care in order for them to be productive and responsible. We, as their elders, should provide all their needs like the food, clothing and shelter in order for them to survive life. Aside from the basic needs, we should also give them the right education and health care needs since these are also the factors that will help to complete their well-being. Education is indeed a great treasure that will follow its owner everywhere and it is the soul of the society. So with education a child will not grow in stupidity, but then children should also to be left to educate themselves. Health, on the other hand, is also as important as the basic needs of man. With no practice of proper health care you cannot be productive. So a child must be given the proper health care for them to be productive and to become healthy because we have a saying that the greatest wealth is health. The needs of a child when it comes to health are different from the old ones. The health care for children is called pediatric health. Before, children’s health was not given so much attention because the health officials just focused on health in general. Until in nineteenth century, they found out that one in every five children died before the age of five. Because of the incident, the health officials decided to give the same attention to children’s health which is pediatric health.

With all these things, our dreams for the children are just a step away. The goods things that we are doing for them are the legacy that they will follow and will transfer to the upcoming generations. In their eyes, we are their role models so we should be careful in everything that we do. Remember, anything that we do is all good in the children’s eyes. All the things that we give to them are their wealth that they will treasure for a lifetime.
